We’re doctors who sought to add telemedicine to our practice, but the leading systems didn't work the way we wanted to - as physicians.
Inspired by surgeons making their own tools, we decided to create our own cart.
First, we assembled the most cost-effective and reliable components that mirror how we practice. Next we integrated them into the Access Cart and Access Station, and now we support them with a 24/7 team of health IT professionals and clinical sense of urgency.

The only Apple®-based cart on the market, the Apple® iMac® instantly puts staff and patients at ease, with a sleek aesthetic, best-in-class display, booming audio, and superior reliability and durability. On the screen, the physician is life-size, with their eyes at normal height.

HD Camera WITH PHYSICIAN REMOTE CONTROL
The camera is inverted to allow physicians to remotely pan, tilt, and zoom to examine the patient without nurses having to move the cart. From dilation of pupil to legs and feet, even printed medical records (our physicians can read 12-point font at 15 feet), or other diagnostic equipment in the room. By simply looking at the screens, you remove the need to plug in any other devices to the cart. It's just one less thing you have to worry about during moments of critical care.

SECURE HIPAA-COMPLIANT VIDEO
All encounters are encrypted (TLS 1.2, AES 256-bit). No data is stored, and we sign a Business Associate Agreement with all clients.

DIGITAL
Stethoscope
Stored neatly in the cart drawer, nurses can use the digital stethoscope at the direction of the physician to listen to heart, lungs, and abdomen. Otoscope, ophthalmoscope, and other diagnostic peripherals also available.

ANTIMICROBIAL COATING
All surfaces of the cart, drawer, and peripherals can be wiped down. The cart itself features an antimicrobial coating to combat infection by inhibiting the growth of bacteria and mildew.

REDUNDANT CONNECTIVITY
Two ways to connect – Wi-Fi and included data plan. Two display options – iMac® and iPad® (also with included data plan on alternate carrier). Plus, an integrated uninterrupted power supply which enables encounters to continue when in motion for up to 45+ minutes.

24/7 Support With A Clinical Urgency
Our US-based health IT professionals are accountable to clinicians and trained for telemedicine support. They answer the call with a clinical sense of urgency because minutes matter, and failures to remain calm, communicate clearly and follow protocol affect patient outcomes. Current resolution time is < 3 minutes.

Viability, warranty and replacement
Collaborating with your IT team, we determine that the cart will perform in each care setting prior to launch. Two-year warranty and free advance replacement for any defective component, with available advance replacement program for damaged components.

Headache-free IMPLEMENTATION
By leveraging the pan/tilt/zoom camera there is no need to integrate with other peripherals or systems. Physicians document directly in your EMR. Only enterprise Wi-Fi required with minimal bandwidth needed.
